Refund Policy

This policy covers refunds for Ultra subscriptions on MyCareCost.

1. Ultra Subscription

Ultra is a recurring subscription processed through Stripe:

  • Refunds for subscription charges are issued at MyCareCost’s sole discretion unless required by applicable law.
  • We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods unless required by law.
  • You may cancel anytime from Account → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period—you retain Ultra access until then.
  • If you believe you were charged in error, contact [email protected] within 30 days of the charge.

2. Disputed Charges & Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is unauthorized or incorrect, please contact us at [email protected] before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We can typically resolve billing issues faster through direct communication. Filing a chargeback may result in temporary suspension of your account until the dispute is resolved.

3. No Guarantee of Savings or Results

Total Care Cost estimates are generated from publicly available hospital pricing data and are for informational purposes only. An Ultra subscription does not guarantee savings opportunities for every procedure or in every geographic area. The absence of useful results does not constitute grounds for a refund if the Service was available and functioning as described.

4. How to Request a Refund

  • Email [email protected] with the subject line “Refund Request.”
  • Include the email address on your MyCareCost account.
  • Describe which subscription charge you are requesting a refund for (date and amount).
  • We will respond within 3 business days to confirm eligibility and process your refund.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy periodically. The “Last updated” date reflects the latest revision. For material changes, we will notify registered users via email at least 30 days before the changes take effect.
